Small Office Building - Two-Level Commercial Revit
A two-level commercial office building modelled in full Revit BIM, with coordinated architectural and structural elements, complete drawing set, and presentation renders.
- - Full 3D architectural Revit model
- - Structural columns and floor coordination
- - Ground and first floor plans
- - Sections and elevations
- - Rendered presentation imagery
About the project
A two-level commercial office building developed as a full Revit BIM exercise during the Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering Design at RMIT University. The project demonstrates the complete workflow from 3D model through to construction-ready documentation.
What’s in the model
The Revit central file holds the full building shell with 680×680 mm square concrete columns and 490 mm round columns, generic 200 mm walls, curtain walling with 8 mm glazing, and a reinforced concrete floor system. The model is structured so structural and architectural elements share a single coordinated source.
Documentation deliverables
- Ground floor plan with grid layout, column markers, and dimensions
- First floor plan with terrace and stair core
- Site plan locating the building on its allotment
- Building sections through the stair core and along the longitudinal axis
- North, south, east, and west elevations
- Renders generated directly from the Revit model
What this demonstrates
The capability to take a small commercial building from initial 3D massing through to a complete coordinated BIM model with construction-ready sheet set - the core deliverable Revit Outsourced provides for live commercial projects.
